Old versions are provided for testing and research purposes. They usually have known bugs that have been addressed in the current release.

If you cannot use latest foobar2000 due to a compatibility issue (old computer, third party plugin issues), please make sure that you have the latest build of the version that suits you.
1.5 and 1.6 series are still receiving bug fix updates.
