PGGB-RT Real Time Upsampling

By: dmance

PGGB-RT offers high accuracy upsampling using renowned PGGB technology. It operates as a stream renderer while foobar handles the input decoding and output audio driver interfaces.

Signal reconstruction options:
- Sample rate output up to 64fS supports all DACs
- Noise Shaped bit depth output of 16-bit to 32-bit supports chip (ASIC), FPGA or R2R DACs
- Control over Noise Shaper, HF Filtering and Gain (ReplayGain, Volume)

Lossless equalization options:
- Imported convolution files (.wav) for measured room EQ (REW) or headphone EQ (AutoEQ)
- Imported parametric files (.txt) allows a fully customized frequency response
- Integrated 4-band EQ (simple, fixed parametric) to tweak frequency response

Processing precision/mode options:
- 64-Bit precision offers excellent sound/performance
- 107-Bit precision offers unmatched sound quality
- Quality mode uses all samples in the track to maximize reconstruction accuracy.
- Speed mode uses blocks of 1M or 4M samples to reduce playback delay.

Pre-processing of the next track in the playlist provides a gapless playback experience on performant systems. A Windows 64-bit system with at least 16Gb of RAM and 4 CPU cores is recommended.

Current version: 7.1.61, released on 2025-02-08

Change log:

Bug fixes:
- Gain/volume adjustment (slider/replaygain) now working properly
- PGGB-RT status line now displays properly in all cases

Supported processor architecture: x86 64-bit.

Works with foobar2000 v64-bit and newer
